Roami · Life Tracker & Pet
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Roami stores the things you log on your device, or in your own iCloud account if you turn on sync. No account or sign-up is required. We don't run servers that hold your data. The one exception is advertising: the free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, which involves Google as a third party. Details below.
Everything you record in Roami — workouts, expenses, journal entries, focus sessions, and your pet's progress — is stored locally on your device by default.
If you turn on iCloud sync, that data is stored in your personal iCloud account so it stays consistent across your devices. This uses Apple's private CloudKit storage, which is tied to your Apple ID. We cannot access or read it, and it never passes through a server we control.
The free version of Roami displays ads through Google AdMob. To show ads, Google may collect and process certain information from your device, such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), general location inferred from your IP address, and ad interaction data. Google acts as an independent third party for this purpose.
On your first launch, iOS will ask whether you allow Roami to track you across apps and websites. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalized using your advertising identifier. You can change this any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
How Google uses this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. Subscribing to remove ads stops Roami from showing them.
Roami offers optional in-app purchases and a subscription, handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple provides us only with anonymized transaction information needed to deliver what you bought and to verify subscription status.
Deleting Roami from your device removes the data stored on it. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove that data in your device's Settings under iCloud. To reset your advertising identifier, use your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
If we change how Roami handles information, we'll update this page and the date above.
